Nivea Sun Super Water Gel protects skin from powerful UV rays to prevent dryness, freckles, and sunburn with this refreshing gel that has a toner-like feel. Artificial colorants and scents are not used.
How much it costs?
It’s a really affodable sunscreen for 140g you will pay only 21$ and I think this is very resonable because this quantity if you apply and reapply daily it will last you 4-5 months.
They say all skin types, but I will recommend these to a combo-oily acne prone skin.
My thoughts:
Nivea Japan Sunscreen has a very watery gel texture ; if you’ve tried the InnisFree balancing lotion, it’s the same kind of somewhat moisturising, gelly-like consistency; it’s just viscous enough for you to apply on your face but still easy to apply.
It dries rapidly (since it contains alcohol), but it’s also marketed as a base for makeup, but it may be used all over the body.

It’s available in two sizes: 80g and 140g, and it’s frequently bundled with larger orders in a little little extra bottle.
Personally, I prefer the 80g due to the packaging and the lack of a pump top, but the 140g is clearly a better value (in terms of prices) The 140g is often a similar price to the 80g, as shown in the illustration, but it is not as convenient to travel with. As a result, I prefer the 80g, although you may obviously choose whatever one you like.
Why I would recommend this sunscreen in the end, especially to individuals who wear a lot of make-up and are concerned that traditional sunscreens may clog pores or look horrible on their skin tone: This is such an excellent base product.
Because of the alcohol base, it dries rapidly without being overly drying, and it doesn’t leave your skin glossy or tacky.
This means you may apply foundation as usual without fear of overdoing it or worrying about how the makeup will sit on top of the sunscreen.
You really should know something about me: I really like asian skincare products. From my opinion all the skincare secrets came from them, because asian womens have such a gorgeous skin and they also get older much harder than western people.
So today I want to show you my top 3 favourite japanese sunscreens, because again from my opinion :)) they make the best sunscreens especially for my oily acne prone skin.
Kose – Suncut Aqualy UV Protect Gel SPF 50+ PA++++
Gel-type sunscreen is fortified with SPF 50+ PA++++ for maximum UV protection and formulated with 10 herbal extracts including orange flower water, lemon fruit, rosemary, witch hazel, St. Joh’s wort, grape leaf and hops to nourish and moisturize skin.
KOSE SUNCUT UV Protect Gel is a daily use Japanese sunscreen gel that feels weightless on the skin. This sunscreen is genuinely so good ! It has a nice lotion consistency, spreads easily, absorbs really quickly and leaves almost no shine on my face. It’s also very affordable and comes in a big bottle 160 g. It has a strong strong alcohol scent, but i goes away quite quickly and it’s not drying for me, but is you are sensitive to ethanol you definetly should check another one. This is not water resistant which may or may not be a downside to some people. No fragrance! Costs only 20 $.
Rohto Mentholatum – Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel SPF 50+ PA++++
Waterproof, sweat-resistant sunscreen comes in a fresh, gel-type formula that’s as light as water, making it a suitable makeup base. Full of gentle, moisturizing ingredients and formulated with light durability technology for strong UV protection. Comes in a squeeze bottle.
This is the first japanese sunscreen I’ve tried and become one of my favourites. This is really good as it’s light on the skin, it doesn’t leave it greasy at all – not even throughout the day – it has no fragrance, it’s also not drying and comes in a good amount 110 g and also does not sting my eyes wich I love. It water resistant, doesnt leave an white cast, just a glowy healthy skin look and it gets absorbed so fast. I definetly love this one and its so affordable15 $ for 110 g.
Protect skin from harmful sun rays with this gel sun screen that glides effortlessly over skin without a sticky after feel. The Clear version leaves no caste while the White version boasts a brightening effect suitable for dull skin.
Such a nice sunscreen. It’s lightweight, fast absorbing, no white cast at all it’s not greasy and it’s a hybrid sunscreen it contains both chemical and mineral UV filters (Octinoxate, Uvinul A Plus, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Tinosorb S) . I think is great for all skin types. This sunscreen also didn’t sting my eyes. Only issue is that it is a very small package 40 g and I saw a pilling when I’ve applied makeup over, some girls didn’t so maybe I do something wrong? I don’t know. So it’s pretty affordable if you want to try it 11.87 $ . It comes in two versions mine is the clear type but you can also find the white type. Choose what you like and remember everyone’s experience with this or another sunscreen will vary.
