Tretinoin 101: What Tretinoin is, How it Works, Side Effects and More

What is Tretinoin?

A potent prescription retinoid drug called tretinoin is used to treat acne and aging skin symptoms including fine lines and wrinkles. Although using tretinoin every night is generally safe, you might not want to due to the first adverse effects, especially when you first start. To prevent major skin irritation, redness, and other side effects, you should only use tretinoin as directed by your doctor.Applying moisturizer immediately before and after using tretinoin is one strategy to reduce side effects.

The most popular brands of tretinoin in the world are Retin-A®, Tretin-X®, Refissa®, Renova®, and Avita®. Tretinoin is an ingredient in many medicines sold internationally, including Stieva-A® cream.

What tretinoin products I currently use

Tretinoin is available in a variety of dose formulations. It’s most frequently sold as a cream, but it’s also available as a jelly, a gel, and a liquid solution.

Tretinoin is a first-generation retinoid that shares chemical similarities with vitamin A. Tretinoin (and other retinoids) can delay the appearance of acne and a number of common aging-related cosmetic symptoms by altering how skin cells mature.

How Tretinoin Works?

One intriguing aspect of tretinoin is that scientists aren’t entirely sure how it works to prevent acne, only that it does.

Tretinoin works by influencing the production of skin oils, though the precise mechanism by which the medication works is unknown. Tretinoin makes it much more difficult for pimples to form on the face and body by altering the way skin develops and decreasing oil levels.

How Tretinoin Works On Acne?

Tretinoin works to treat acne by keeping skin pores open. It has been shown in numerous studies to be an effective acne treatment for both inflammatory and noninflammatory acne. It reduces the stickiness of dead skin cells, which can clog pores and cause acne breakouts such as blackheads, whiteheads, and zits.

Tretinoin also reduces the size of pores and has anti-inflammatory properties that help with acne. Finally, it aids in the control of the oily sebum produced by the skin’s sebaceous glands.

How Tretinoin Works on Wrinkles?

Tretinoin’s anti-aging properties include reducing fine lines and wrinkles and smoothing skin in a variety of ways, including improving cell turnover. Tretinoin aids in the removal of unhealthy or dead skin cells, revealing the healthy skin beneath. It also keeps your skin plump and fights aging by protecting and eventually increasing collagen production and skin elasticity.

How to Use Tretinoin Cream for Best Results?

Tretinoin cream is typically applied before going to bed. To learn how to use tretinoin cream, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Wash your skin with warm water and a mild soap or cleanser. Allow the skin to completely dry.
Step 2: Apply just enough medicine to lightly cover the affected area. A pea-sized amount will cover the entire face.
Step 3: Gently massage it into the affected area.
Step 4: Wash your hands thoroughly.
Step 5: Wait 20 minutes before applying moisturizer if necessary.
Step 6: Wash your face in the morning with a gentle facial scrub or a rough washcloth. This will help to reduce visible flaking.
Allow skin to dry before applying a good water-based moisturizer.

Apply tretinoin every other or third night when you first begin using it. The flaking and irritation are usually the most severe during the first two weeks. You can apply the medicine more frequently as your skin adjusts to it.

It’s fine to take a couple of days off if you notice an increase in irritation or flaking. Just don’t stop taking the medication without first consulting your doctor.

Tretinoin Side Effects

Tretinoin, like all medications, has some side effects. Tretinoin, in general, is a safe and effective medication.

However, some users report side effects ranging from minor skin irritation that subsides with continued use to more serious adverse effects.

The most common side effect of tretinoin use is a warm, stinging sensation in the skin immediately after application of the medication. This is frequently accompanied by dry, itchy skin, redness, mild scaling, and a mild burning sensation.

Tretinoin may also cause your acne to worsen before it improves, a phenomenon known as “tretinoin purge,” which we’ve discussed in greater detail. Typically, the “purge” is only temporary and then disappears.

Many of these minor side effects will go away on their own, while others can be easily remedied by using a moisturizer or other skincare products to counteract the dryness caused by tretinoin.

Tretinoin can cause serious side effects such as facial swelling and burning, conjunctivitis, swelling of the eyelids, skin discoloration, and blisters. These are uncommon side effects that should be treated immediately by a medical professional.

Considerations for Using Tretinoin

Apply tretinoin at night and avoid the sun—Ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun reduces the active ingredient’s effectiveness.Furthermore, tretinoin can make your skin more sensitive and susceptible to sunburn. It is safe to continue using tretinoin during the hot summer months.Simply use as much shade and sunblock as possible, even on cloudy days.

Tretinoin can have unfavorable interactions with other skincare ingredients. While taking tretinoin, avoid products that tend to dry out your skin.Products containing spices, sulfur, lime, resorcinol, astringents, and salicylic acid should be avoided.

Wear a scarf or other face covering to protect your face from strong winds or cold; tretinoin can make you more sensitive to weather extremes.

asian sunscreen, gel sunscreen, sunscreen anti aging, sunscreen cream for face, sunscreen daily, sunscreen for oily skin

How much it costs?

It’s a really affodable sunscreen for 140g you will pay only 21$ and I think this is very resonable because this quantity if you apply and reapply daily it will last you 4-5 months.

What type of sunscreen it is?

Chemical sunscreen: diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, dimethicone, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, ethylhexyl triazone sodium hyaluronate.

What type of skin should wear this?

They say all skin types, but I will recommend these to a combo-oily acne prone skin.

My thoughts:

Nivea Japan Sunscreen has a very watery gel texture ; if you’ve tried the InnisFree balancing lotion, it’s the same kind of somewhat moisturising, gelly-like consistency; it’s just viscous enough for you to apply on your face but still easy to apply.

It dries rapidly (since it contains alcohol), but it’s also marketed as a base for makeup, but it may be used all over the body.

It’s available in two sizes: 80g and 140g, and it’s frequently bundled with larger orders in a little little extra bottle.

Personally, I prefer the 80g due to the packaging and the lack of a pump top, but the 140g is clearly a better value (in terms of prices) The 140g is often a similar price to the 80g, as shown in the illustration, but it is not as convenient to travel with. As a result, I prefer the 80g, although you may obviously choose whatever one you like.

Why I would recommend this sunscreen in the end, especially to individuals who wear a lot of make-up and are concerned that traditional sunscreens may clog pores or look horrible on their skin tone: This is such an excellent base product.

Because of the alcohol base, it dries rapidly without being overly drying, and it doesn’t leave your skin glossy or tacky.

This means you may apply foundation as usual without fear of overdoing it or worrying about how the makeup will sit on top of the sunscreen.

Ingredients list:

Water, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, ethanol, PG, dimethicone, ethylhexyltriazone, hexyl diethylaminohydroxybenzoyl benzoate, sodium hyaluronate, phellodendron bark extract, quince seed extract, tocopherol acetate, (Acrylate / alkyl acrylate (C10-30)) ) Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Setes-10, Na Hydroxide, BHT, Methylparaben

A perfect 10/10 and a must-try for anyone who dislikes traditional sunscreens or wants to try something new!

A begginer’s guide to double cleansing

Do you understand what double cleansing is? Is adding another step to your skincare routine really worth it? And, for your skin type, how do you double cleanse?

What is double cleansing?

It’s as easy as it sounds! Double cleansing requires using two different cleansers to completely remove all traces of makeup, sunscreen, pollution, oil, dirt, and grime (which is difficult for just one cleanser to do well; it needs a little support from another cleanser). The first cleanser should be an oil-based makeup remover, followed by a water-based cleanser.

What is double cleansing for your skin?

In essence, twice washing guarantees that your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared for the next skincare products you’ll be applying later. It also aids in the revitalization of dull skin and the penetration of other skincare products. When you start double-cleansing, you’ll notice a significant change in the health of your skin. So let’s get started…

What should you use as a first cleanse?

The first element in your double washing process is to cleanse your skin of all oil-based pollutants, makeup, sunscreen, sebum, and even pollution. Finally, it aids in skin preparation for your second wash. Even if you didn’t use makeup during the day, this step is still necessary because your skin will most likely have sunscreen, sebum, and pollutants on it. Choose an oil-based cleanser for your initial cleanse (yes, even though your skin is oily), which will act like a magnet on your skin.

What are my favourites products to use for first cleanse:

double cleansing acne, double cleansing benefits, double cleansing before and after, double cleansing cleanser, double cleansing for oily skin, double cleansing every night

What should we use as a second cleanser?

Your second cleanser can really work its way into the skin now that your first cleanser has done the majority of the work. After using a makeup remover, your second wash helps to eliminate dust, filth, excess oil, and trace quantities of makeup from the skin (plus any leftover residue from your makeup remover).

My favourites for second cleanse are:

double cleansing acne, double cleansing benefits, double cleansing before and after, double cleansing cleanser, double cleansing for oily skin, double cleansing every night

Is it necessary to double cleanse in the morning?

Your skin will only contain the product from the night before, as well as some debris and oil that has accumulated overnight (the double cleanse the night before will have put your skin in a good place). So, in essence, morning double cleansing isn’t necessary at all.

What is the best way to double cleanse for your skin type?

All skin types can benefit from double cleaning if the correct solutions are used. If you have dry skin, try using gentle cleansers that don’t remove the skin’s natural oils. Ingredients like shea butter, jojoba, plant oils, honey, and squalene, as well as a neutral pH cleanser, will keep skin from drying out even more. Anti-inflammatory substances such as vitamin E and polyhydroxy acids can help combat blackheads on oily skin. A balancing cleanser with ceramides to maintain moisture and something lightweight to moisturize while managing oil will suit combination skin types. Finally, if you have sensitive skin, look for fragrance-free, moderate solutions.

If you have really sensitive skin, keep in mind that too much of a good thing might be harmful. If you have rosacea, for example, you will never double-cleanse; instead, you will use only an oil cleanser or light cleaning cream.

How to grow organically on instagram in 2022

Is it still possible to increase your Instagram account organically in such a crowded influencer space?

YES, it is!!! Growing your Instagram following can help you drive more visitors to your website, improve sales, and even make you a trendsetting influencer.

There are a wide variety of ways to properly expand your Instagram following, and it all begins with creating the proper foundation (with purpose and plan) and understanding how the algorithm works. Here are a few (of many) tactics that I’ve tried and tested over the course of my 2 years as an influencer.

blogger brand collaborations, blogger collaborations, blogging advice for new bloggers, , get paid as a blogger, how to collaborate with brands, How to Turn Gifted Blogger Collaborations into Paid Collaborations, how to work with brands, How to Work with Brands as a Blogger, Petite Blogger, petite style, reaching out to brands as an influencer, , tips for influencers who want to work with brands

a) The first impression is crucial

People have an average attention span of 8 seconds. A potential follower has just 8 seconds to evaluate whether or not you’re someone they’d like to follow, so make sure they know what to expect from you and your work right away. Consider your Instagram account to be a portfolio or a cv. Your profile should give them a good idea of who you are.

b) Take full advantage of almost everything Instagram has to offer.

  • Static Feed (up to 10) (Photo, Video, Carousel
  • Instagram Television (IGTV) (with the option to post on your static feed)
  • Instagram Stories are visual representations of events that occur on (using the polls, questions and sticker options)
  • Highlights of the narrative
  • Incorporating call-to-action buttons (ie. Share, Save, Turn On Notifications, Swipe Up links, etc.)

c) Improve the Searchability of Your Post Captions

Optimizing your Instagram posts for search is a significant Instagram hack for increasing your following.

Following a recent Instagram update, English-speaking users in six countries can now search Instagram using keywords.

d) Use a hashtag strategy

Instagram hashtags are one of the most powerful growth tools at your disposal, and they should not be overlooked.

Hashtags are a great method to grow your Instagram following and reach more people. When you use a hashtag, your post will show up on the hashtag’s page. If you include a hashtag in your Story, it may appear in the related hashtag Story, which is also displayed on the hashtag page.

How many hashtags should you use on Instagram?

A standard post can include up to 30 hashtags, while a Story can have up to 10. Your remark or caption will not post if you try to include more.

However, just because you have the ability to use so many hashtags on Instagram doesn’t mean you should. For each business, or even each post by the same firm, there is no “correct” quantity of hashtags.

The general agreement is that 11 hashtags is a decent place to start. However, the most common hashtag count on Instagram is between one and three.

To figure out what works best for your account, you’ll need to conduct some research.

e) Cross-promote your Instagram account across many platforms

Cross-promoting your Instagram account on other platforms is a wonderful place to start if you’re looking for additional strategies to build your Instagram following.

TikTok is a popular app for advertising your Instagram account.

Connecting your Instagram account to your TikTok is one of the first things you can do on TikTok to assure Instagram traffic.

After that, you can make a few TikToks to encourage people to visit your Instagram page.

If TikTok isn’t a part of your marketing plan, you can send visitors to your Instagram account using your website, email newsletter, podcast, or another social media platform.

f) Make Your Content User-Friendly

Over 430 million individuals worldwide are deaf or hard of hearing, and at least 2.2 billion have eyesight problems.

Here are four easy steps you can take right now to make your Instagram account more accessible and inclusive:

  • Subtitles or text overlays can be added to video content (including Instagram Videos, Stories, and Reels)
  • Create descriptive alt text for your Instagram posts by hand.
  • During storytelling and films, mention visual details.
  • In Instagram hashtags, capitalize each word. This makes it easier for screen-readers to read them aloud correctly.

TIP: Instagram has just provided auto-generated captions for stories in 16 languages, making it easier than ever to make your content more accessible.

g) Post More Consistently

Consistency is the name of the game when it comes to Instagram growth.

One of the most important results was that accounts with more regular posts had more followers.

Quality content that provides real value to your readers, on the other hand, should always take precedence over quantity.

f) In the Name Field of Your Bio, Include Keywords

Did you realize that the words you use in your Instagram bio’s Name Field can be searched?

If your company specializes in custom artwork, for example, you might want to use keywords like “Art” or “Artwork” in your Name Field.

Think about your specialty, what industry you’re in, who you’re targeting, and what solution you’re offering.

f) If you can, post every single day

I know this sounds overwhelming, but it’s the best strategy for me and my account. Of course, your content should be relevant and good quality, you can’t post just random stuff.

Here are some of my latest Instagram insights:

g) Get yourself out of all the engagement groups

I know how hard it is to receive likes, comments and stuff and how tempting these groups are ( and trust me I’ve been in many, till 2-3 months ago :)) ) but these groups helps you on short term.

I don’t know how, but Instagram always found out about these and you can risk for your account to be suspended or you can’t use all the monetisations features because they will label you as you are not “An Established Presence” .

For example my account, where I post every day and I have more that 17K followers is ineligible to use branded content tools because I was on these groups or because I liked, commented on post in a very short period of time and Instagram considered me a robot.

Not the same thing happens on another instagram account where I have like 50 followers, there I am Eligible to use all the monetizations features.

I’ve requeste many times for Instagram, to see that I am not a robot but they just don’t care and don’t make me eligible no matter how hard I try. So, if you have any tips on how should make this process faster please let me know in the comments or DM me on Instagram!

Growing your Instagram account may appear to be a difficult task, but with the appropriate approaches and ideas, you can certainly increase your Instagram followers.

Posting creative material, targeting the correct people, and taking advantage of Instagram’s new features and trends are all part of the strategy.

Affordable drugstore skincare products under 17$

Hi friends! Because I’ve saw how much you liked my previous post where I’ve showed you my favourites affordable products under 15, here is another post with some drugstore products that I’m constantly using recently.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum from The Inkey List

This quickly absorbed super serum hydrates your skin and helps it appear plump and smooth while decreasing the appearance of fine wrinkles.

best skincare products, order of skincare products, affordable drugstore products, skincare products for acne, skincare products for men

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid serum comes in a 30ml container, which is the first thing I’d want to point out. The plastic bottle is both compact and practical. The cover features a simple press-down flip-top mechanism. There aren’t any fancy glass bottles or droppers like in The Ordinary.

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid includes 2% hyaluronic acid with three different molecular weights, hydrating your skin at various degrees depending on how far it can sink. This aids the product’s effectiveness on your skin.

In addition to hyaluronic acid, The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid contains the peptides Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-1, which together produce Matrixyl 3000, a collagen-boosting substance. This indicates that the hyaluronic acid in this serum is a little greater than your average hyaluronic acid serum.

best skincare products, order of skincare products, affordable drugstore products, skincare products for acne, skincare products for men

The consistency is a transparent, viscous lotion. In a hyaluronic acid serum recipe, this isn’t unusual.
Before applying to my skin, I normally put around 2-3 drops (The Inkey List advises a pea-sized amount, and it’s approximately that) into the palm of my hand.

Sensibio H2O Micellar Cleansing Water and Makeup Remover Solution

Sensibio H2O is the first and only dermatological micellar water that is completely skin-friendly: its fatty acid esters, which are micelle constituents, are similar to the phospholipids found in skin cell membranes and help to naturally rebuild the skin’s hydrolipidic film.

best skincare products, order of skincare products, affordable drugstore products, skincare products for acne, skincare products for men

Bioderma Sensibio H2O is surprisingly silky and soft compared to other cleansing fluids I’ve tested. As a result, applying it feels a touch opulent, which I love in a nighttime regimen. It removes makeup (though you may need to use a bit more than normal if it’s a heavy-duty formula) and hydrates skin better than a face wash, but its major selling point is its complete lack of irritation.

Vichy – Vichy Capital Soleil UV-Age Daily Sun Fluid SPF50+ PA++++

Vichy has a multi-patented Netlock technology that keeps the SPF in place. Actives from Dermalogical Skincare are incorporated to assist improve the skin’s barrier. 1 percent Vitamin E, 4% Peptides Complex, 2% Niacinamide, 10% Vichy Volcanic Mineralizing Water (the water is said to assist ease inflammation), and Probiotic (Bacterial) segments, for example.

Probiotic fractions (smaller parts) – helps improve the skin’s barrier. 10% Vichy Volcanic Water (supposedly anti-inflammatory).

This is a wonderful, fluid texture that is both light and airy. It isn’t so light that it disappears completely once absorbed/rubbed into the skin, but it is light enough that it isn’t irritating and allows my skin to breathe. This also gives my skin a smoother appearance. It’s definitely hydrating, and as you can see, the result is more dewy than matte.

Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Women Smoothing Night Cream

A panel of women aged 20 to 35 years old with acne-prone skin, blemish-prone skin, and hormonal acne received Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Women Corrective Serum and Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Women Smoothing Night Cream from Beauty Crew.

To begin, I define “gifted collaboration” as a partnership with a business in which you publish on whatever social media site you like in exchange for a free product or service from that brand.
A compensated partnership entails more than simply free items; it also entails further remuneration.
When brands first contact you, some of them will make it obvious that this relationship would consist solely of product giveaways. However, as I mentioned in my post on How to Make Money as an Influencer , you should never accept a brand’s first offer.

It never hurts, in my opinion, to ask brands to PAY YOU FOR WHAT YOU ARE WORTH!When brands contact me without mentioning rates or budgets, I always respond by asking what kind of budget they are working with. This begins the budget discussion and allows me to provide my quote for the statement of work required.

Email Template 1: On how to ask brand for money

Are you unsure about the language or how to begin this conversation?Talking about money can be awkward at times.I’m here to assist you! When a brand contacts me without mentioning a budget, I respond as follows:

Hi Name,

Thank you so much for reaching out!

It’s so nice to connect with you.I would definitely be interested in a collab with you.

At the moment, I am doing paid promotion on my instagram page. Do you have a particular budget for this collaboration?

I look forward to hearing back from you!

Thank you,

Irina.

This template is a nice way to start a conversation and turn those free collaborations into paid ones!
When brands receive this message, they frequently open the floor by asking me to provide my rates or a quote for the requested statement of work.
You can also use this as an opportunity to share your media kit and any statistics on the performance of previous branded partnerships.

Email Template 2 : When brands propose you affiliate partnerships

Well I do not reccomend you to accept affiliate partnerships if you don’t know how to sell, because it takes alot of time and strategies to do it ( making content for the brand and promote it on your page) .

I personally hate these types of collaborations because is really hard to do it and I personally do not have much time for this. I only do this for the brands I really love so if you see this type of collaboration on my page this means I really like that brand :)) .

So here is the template number two on how to respond if we do not want these types of collabs:

Hi Name,

Unfortunately, I am not interested in affiliate partnerships at this time.
It’s more work for the creator to try to drive sales just to get the commission, rather than focusing on the value of what I bring to the table, which is my time to create the content, my creativity to market the product, and my endorsement.

If you have a budget available to allocate for the [DELIVERABLES], my rates starts at [$$$ USD]

Have a nice day!

Email Template 3: Turning Past Gifted Collabs Into Paid Collabs

But what if you’ve previously collaborated with the brand on a free basis and now want to turn it into a paid collaboration the next time they contact out?
No issue, here’s what I’ve previously stated:

Hello NAME,

Thank you so much for getting in touch!
I’d love to work with you again!
I’ve had a lot of fun working with BRAND in the past, and I’m confident that the product will appeal to my target group.
Given the time, effort, and price that goes into filming a campaign, I will prioritize compensated collaborations in the future.
Is there a marketing budget for influencer activations at BRAND?

Thank you for your time!

How to make money from social media as an Influencer

I never realized that you can make money from social media as an influencer, I mean alot of money. Even I, after 1 year and a half of social media, I’ve made some money from brand collabs.

How to make money as an Influencer?

As with many industries, influencers have various options when it comes to making money. Some of these are more lucrative and require a higher level of commitment than an average influencer.

Affiliate Marketing

One of the oldest responses to the question, “How do influencers make money?” is affiliate marketing.

Influencers and website owners use affiliate marketing to provide special links or promo codes in their postings. The influencer is paid a modest fee when people click on the links or use the codes at checkout.
Amazon Associates is one of the most well-known affiliate marketing schemes.
A dedicated influencer campaign is also available.

When it comes to how influencers make money nowadays, sponsored posts are a popular choice. In this situation, sponsored articles might be any sort of commissioned content generation.

As a result, an Instagram celebrity may make a single post, a series of posts, or a Story.
Influencers on YouTube and TikTok can create videos, while Twitter users can send out Tweets.
Usually, the promoted product is included into the material in some way. For compliance purposes, an FTC disclosure should also be included.

Branded merchandise

A long list of influencers and content creators develop branded products and sell it online to build brand awareness and monetize their audience may be discovered.

For YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram influencers and brand ambassadors who really want to make money using the power and popularity of promotional material, creating and selling branded things is a fantastic marketing trick.

Influencers can use merch to increase their social networks and express their messages through specific items.

Furthermore, an influencer can build tighter and longer-term relationships with fans and followers by providing them with access to unique branded things.

Ebooks and Digital Courses

People with specialized knowledge abound on social media, and many of them have become industry influencers. Selling digital products is a smart way to make money for this subset of influencers.

Fitness, food, and financial influencers are all examples of this. Selling numerous training alternatives, as well as giving a subscription, is quite beneficial for the fitness crowd. Food bloggers can offer a recipe ebook, while financial experts frequently promote subscription-based services.

Subscriptions

Subscription-based models are one of the most basic ways for influencers to profit from their social media efforts.

We discussed fitness influencers and creating digital courses and workshops a little farther up.

Alternatively, a fitness celebrity could explore selling various training bundles on a subscription basis.Influencers can market subscription-based services to diverse segments of their target audience, boosting their chances of successfully monetizing their following.

Collabs with brands

Collaborations with businesses is the final way to make money as a social media influencer that I’d like to share with you. This technique entails an influencer collaborating with or assisting a company in the development of a new product or set of products.

A beauty influencer collaborating with a well-known beauty business to develop a new beauty product is an example of this. The influencer normally receives a share of the earnings in the case of an influencer cooperation, based on the terms of the agreement between the two parties.

What are the Elements of Making Money as an Influencer on Social Media?

  • produce high quality content;
  • maintain a regular posting schedule;
  • make content that is interesting to read;
  • create a community;

It’s possible to make money on Instagram?

The short answer is a resounding YES!

Instagram was one of the most downloaded apps on both the App Store and the Google Play Store in 2020.Because of Instagram’s popularity, it’s safe to say that influencers can successfully connect with their audience and make a full-time living off of the platform.

Aside from the platform’s popularity, another reason Instagrammers can make money on the platform is due to the platform’s capabilities, specifically the monetization and promotion tools available to users.

Instagram, in particular, gives influencers access to a variety of revenue streams, including:

  • Making branded content and working with brands
  • Earning money by displaying badges on live videos
  • Developing advertisements for their videos and other content
  • Creating an Instagram shop where they can sell their merchandise and products

How much money you can make from instagram?

You should be paid with $10 per post for every 1,000 followers you have.
Keep in mind that if you’re doing a Story or a series of posts, the numbers should be adjusted accordingly. But you should know better how much money your content deserve.

Is it possible to make money with tik tok?

TikTok is the world’s second most downloaded app in 2020, trailing only Zoom.

TikTok is a new platform for influencer marketing. That is not to say that getting a post sponsored is cheap. For the time being, the suggested rate is $25 per 1,000 followers. Some of this may be due to the network’s smaller supply of influencers in comparison to other networks.

TikTok provides the following options for monetization:

  • Advertisements
  • Branded content
  • Authorization to use its Creator Marketplace

Making Money as an Influencer on YouTube

The third platform we’d like to discuss is YouTube.

With 500+ hours of content uploaded on YouTube every minute, we can’t help but wonder how much potential there is for content creation and monetization on this online video sharing and social media platform.

Furthermore, YouTube.com is ranked second in global internet engagement by Alexa by Amazon.

YouTube is undoubtedly a good platform for influencers in terms of engagement; however, can a YouTuber make money on the platform?

The following are the main features of the program from which YouTube influencers can profit financially:

  • Display, overlay, and video advertisements
  • Memberships in channels
  • Make and sell official branded merchandise that will appear on your Watch pages.
  • Subscribers can pay for Super Chat and Super Stickers to have their messages highlighted in chat streams.

Influencers on YouTube frequently have to put in a lot of effort to publish a video. Scripting, shooting, and editing all take a significant amount of time. As a result, I recommend a minimum of $20 per 1,000 subscribers. However, taking into account exclusivity agreements and other factors, you may need to pay more.

So when you create content, do it the way you like it and learn to appreciate your work when a brand wants you to advertise it. Always trust yourself and the work you do. I hope I helped you with this article!

How to use retinol: A begginer’s guide

Retinol is a skin care ingredient that’s been called the holy grail due to its numerous benefits. It’s commonly used to improve skin texture and reduce dark spots. However, it can also cause side effects, such as soreness and redness.

Favourite retinol products to start with

Retinol is a type of retinoid that’s naturally produced by your body. It helps boost cell turnover and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Here are some different types of retinoids:

  • Retinol
  • Tretinoin
  • Isotretinoin
  • Adapalene
  • Trifaro
  • Retinoldehyde
  • Tazarotene
  • Retinol esters

What retinol does?

Retinol is a powerful antioxidant that helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as reduce the risk of skin cancer. It can also help prevent and treat acne.

Is retinol suittable for all skin types?

Yes, any skin type can start using retinol, but sensitive skin types should be careful of the side effects which retinol has: such as mild irritation, dryness and sun sensitivity are normal because your skin adapts to the active ingredient, but redness, burning and intense flacking are not. So sensitive type and rosacea should be wary or they can use the the vegan natural alternative to retinol, bakuchiol. And should also be remembered that pregnat women should not use retinol.

What age should you start using retinol?

Best age to start is 25, because this is when collagen production will start to slow down. But also you should pay attention to the following signs like dynamic wrinkles, frown lines, crow’s feet, or laughter lines.

What retinol percentage should you use?

You should start slowly, with at least 0.1% retinol, retinyl esters or retinaldehyde. If your skin is not to sensitive you should strat with 0.5%.

How to add retinol to your skincare routine?

The first thing that you should know is that always apply retinol products at night, as sunlight can diminish their power. Retinol should be incorporate into your skin routine slowly and wih caution. The most common recommendation are these:

  • For the first two weeks, use retinol once a week;
  • In the next two weeks, use retinol twice a week;
  • After four weeks, use retinol every other day and see how your skin reacts to it, if it gets to sensitive use retinol only 2/3x a week.

Remember to apply only a pea-sized amount to your face and neck after double-cleansing and toner on dry skin. After it apply your favourite hydrating serum, eye cream, ceramides moisturiser and lip balm (because your lips can get really dry while using retinoids).

What should you do if your skin has a bad reaction to retinol?

The most common side effects are dryness and irritation, so is normal to have this, but if your skin is quie irritated you should cutting out the retinol application, along with other skincare products that contain active ingredients. Go back to a gentle routine and use only gentle skincare products. Once your skin is back to normal (it usually takes a month and a half), you can try retinol again, using it less frequently, but on a regular schedule.

What not to mix with retinol:

Don’t mix retinol with: benzoyl peroxide, vitamin C and AHA/BHA acids. AHA and BHA are also exfoliating acids and they toghether with retinol can irritate your skin really bad and also dry out. As for benzoyl peroxide and retinol, they cancel each other out.

What can you mix with retinol:

You can mix retinol with hyaluronic acid and ceramides. Also don’t forget to use SPF 50 religiously every day of the year, not only to prevent skin cancers, wrinkles and sun spots, but when you apply retinol (or other active ingredients) your skin is more sensitive to the sun.

How does retinol take to work?

Be patinet. you will see results after 3-6 months or a minimul of twelve weeks before you say that it’s not working for you!

The 28$ hair mask that totally transformed my curly, frizzy hair

Finally, I found a mask that works on my thick, curly and frizzy hair.

OUAI Treatment mask for thick hair

Everything about Ouai’s Thick Hair Treatment Masque is rich. From the formula, a blend of almond, macadamia, and olive oils with shea and illipe butters (the latter is a tree nut high in vitamins E and A), to the scent. The fragrance, a blend of roses, bergamot, and champagne called Melrose Place, lingers just long enough for that freshly washed feel without interfering with your perfume. And, of course, like all of Ouai’s products, the packaging is chic enough to make me consider redoing my bathroom to match.

Holding the Oaui hair mask in my hand in my bathroom. It has a grey color

OUAI’s Thick Hair Treatment Masque helps restore hydration, repair damage and add shine to thick hair with almond, macadamia and olive oils, shea and illipe butters and hydrolyzed keratin. Benefits

  • Provides hydration for dry, damaged hair
  • Strengthens with proteins to prevent breakage
  • Leaves hair healthy with a shiny finish

Key Ingredients

  • Illipe and Shea Butters: Hydrate and condition dry, over-processed hair
  • Almond, Olive, and Macadamia Oil Blend: Softens and smooths hair while adding shine
  • Hydrolyzed Keratin and Protein: Prevent breakage while reducing frizz and flyaways

Scent Type

  • Melrose Place: A velvety-rich rose scent infused with a swoon-worthy blend of fragrance notes.
  • Key Notes: Champagne, Pink Peppercorn, Berry, Lychee, Amber, Sandalwood, White Musk, Cedarwood, Peony, Rose, Freesia, Jasmine, Bergamot
  • Melrose Place scent can also be found in OUAI Detox Shampoo and Scalp & Body Scrub.

The mask is super easy to use: spread it throughout your hair and let it sit for five to 10 minutes. You can be super liberal with the amount, and you can also let it stay on as long as you want. You can even apply it to wet or dry hair. I typically put it on at the beginning of a shower and rinse at the end. According to the Ouai site, you should apply it before a workout or before you go to bed, but I’ve found that it’s hard to mess up with this product, no matter how you use it. Every time, it’s left my hair feeling soft and buttery, and looking super shiny. The results also hang on until the next time you wash your hair — and you’ll definitely be addicted to this mask after one use.

It contains smart keratin and tamarind seed extract, which help nourish and build up your strands without making them feel heavy, which is super important during the summer when light, beachy waves are the go-to. It also contains an amino acid blend, as well as artichoke leaf extract — all of which work to repair damage and seal off the hair’s cuticle to protect from future damage.

Can you leave OUAI hair mask in overnight?

Definitely! Before you get into bed, use a spray bottle to make your hair slightly damp. Then apply Treatment Masque from mid-shaft to ends, distributing it evenly with a wide-tooth comb.

I also love the thick texture, it’s almost youghurt like and you need a small amount to cover all the hair. If you have curly, thick, damaged and frizzy hair you absolutely have to try The Ouai Mask. I love it!
