Top 3 cleansers of 2021

What are Cleansers?

A facial cleanser is a skincare product used to remove make-up, dead skin cells, oil, dirt, and other types of pollutants from the skin, helping to keep pores clear and prevent skin conditions such as acne.

Finding the best cleanser can be tough given there are so many options. Knowing the differences between them will help you choose the best products for your skin.

  • Gel cleansers are clear with a gel-like consistency. Many have deep-cleaning and exfoliating properties—ideal for oily, acne-prone skin.
  • Cream cleansers are usually thicker and can be moisturizing, cleansing without stripping skin of its natural oils—ideal for dry or sensitive skin.
  • Foam cleansers are lightweight solutions creating a foamy lather when dispensed from a pump package. Foam cleansers are pleasant to use and remove excess oil as effectively as gel cleansers—ideal for combination skin.

These are my favourite cleansers of 2021:

💦 @cerave Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser – this foaming formula is suitable for delicate skin and skin prone to mild eczema. It contains 3 ceramides to help strengthen and maintain the skin barrier, and triglycerides and squalane oil to help replenish natural skin’s lipids, suitable for normal to dry skin on the face of body.

💦 @youthtothepeople Kale+ Green Tea Spinach Vitamins – it smells so fresh kinda like cut grass. My skin looks way more hydrated, way more clean and my natural glow is way more visible after this.

💦 @paulaschoice Pore Normalizing Cleanser- this gentle, acne-fighting cleanser remove excess oil, pore-clogging debris and makeup without drying skin or causing redness. After this my skin feels clean and has stopped my breakouts entirely. 🤍

Like a Virgin -Coconut & Fig Hair Masque Coco&Eve

The Coco&Eve Coconut & Fig Hair Masque is one of my favourites. It’s a deeply conditioning hair treatment.

Your hair is going to go coco-nuts for the Like A Virgin hair treatment. The highly concentrated formula helps to improve the health of the hair by delivering hydration from root to tip to reveal lustrous locks. Formulated with coconut, fig, shea butter, linseed and argan oil to strengthen and restore hair so it’s ‘Like a Virgin’ again! Ideal for reviving dry hair damaged by heat styling, dyes and the environment, as well as taming frizz and split ends.

Free tangle tamer brush included to apply of the masque and detangle locks with minimal breakage.

My hair type: thick wavy frizzy hair, a little bit damaged with medium porosity.

Hair routine: at first I use the scalp scrub from Cristophe Robin ( Cleansing Purifying Sea Salt Scrub) and I like it to massage my hair with it for 2 minutes the I use a second shampoo from The Ouai (Detox Shampoo) and then I apply a hydrating mask or a hydrating conditioner.

How to use it:

1. Shampoo your hair as normal then evenly distribute a generous amount of coconut hair mask to your towel dried hair.

2. Comb the product through the hair using the tangle tamer that comes with the mask.

3. Leave for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse with warm water.

4. You also can keep the masque in overnight using a microfibre towel wrap and wash out in the morning for super damaged hair or for even better results.

After using the mask: I can say that my hair definetely loves this mask. ’ve used this for a few weeks now and would definitely recommend it. I tend to wash my hair in the evening leave it in overnight on damp hair (don’t dry it) and wash it out in the morning. Smells lush, makes my hair feel super soft and healthy. The mask makes my hair silky soft, visibly less damaged and tangled, and it generally looks so much healthier. But aside from the good results, as I mentioned earlier, the mask smells incredible — honestly

The only thing that I do not like is that’s kinda expensive, but Iin the last few moths I’ve bought so many expensive hair and face products that I really don’t know how I will ever empty them :)). Seriously now it costs around 47 $ in Romania.

If you buy this hair mask you will not make mistake, this is the best I have ever tried. I get alot of compliments after I am using this one.

My top 3 affordable drugstore sunscreens

Who doesn’t love affordable drugstore products that works? I think everybody ! Today I am gonna to talk about my top 3 favourites sunscreens that which I always rebuy because they work great for my oily acne prone skin but they will definetely work on a combo skin as well.

@eauthermaleaveneromania very high protection Dry Touch Fluid SPF 50+ – is a facial sunscreen suitable for normal to combination skin that is effective against both UVA and UVB. This formula has been designed to be very water resistant and to regulate sebum production, thanks to its content in Monolaurin. The ultra-fluid texture ensures that the skin stays matte throughout the day and Avène Thermal Water soothes any irritations. Characteristics Dry touch ultra fluid emulsion; Very water resistant; Paraben-free.

This sunblock comes in a pump bottle that it makes very easy to dispense. The moment I applied this it left a little bit of white cast but after 20 minutes it tones down and I can not spot it anymore. It set quite quickly so I had to apply it fast, I didn’t notice any pilling the finish is semi-matte which I really like !

I kinda liked it under makeup, but I can’t say it’s my favourite sunscreen under makeup. It doesn’t sting my eyes at all, cuz you know how sensitive they are and I did not experienced any irritation or breakouts from using it. Doesn’t feel sticky or greasy and absorbs almost immediatelyOffers a really good oil control, my face remain matte for like 4-5 hours.

Contains 4 UV filters: Tinosorb M, S, Uvasorb HEB, Avebonzone and it doesn’t contains fragrance which I like very very much! It costc only 12 $ so I think is a fair price for 50 ml.

Ingredients:
AVENE THERMAL SPRING WATER (AVENE AQUA). C12-15 ALKYL BENZOATE. METHYLENE BIS-BENZOTRIAZOLYL TETRAMETHYLBUTYLPHENOL [NANO]. WATER (AQUA). DIISOPROPYL ADIPATE. ISODECYL NEOPENTANOATE. SILICA. DICAPRYLYL CARBONATE. BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE. DIETHYLHEXYL BUTAMIDO TRIAZONE. ALUMINUM STARCH OCTENYLSUCCINATE. BUTYL ETHOXYDIBENZOYLMETHANE. POTASSIUM CETYL PHOSPHATE. DECYL GLUCOSIDE. 1,2-HEXANEDIOL. C10-18 TRIGLYCERIDES. VP/EICOSENE COPOLYMER. ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER. BENZOIC ACID. BUTYLENE GLYCOL. CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE. DISODIUM EDTA. FRAGRANCE (PARFUM). GLYCERYL BEHENATE. GLYCERYL DIBEHENATE. GLYCERYL STEARATE. OXOTHIAZOLIDINE. PEG-100 STEARATE. PROPYLENE GLYCOL. SODIUM BENZOATE. TOCOPHEROL. TOCOPHERYL GLUCOSIDE. TRIBEHENIN. XANTHAN GUM.

@altruistsun Altruist Dermatologist SPF50 Light Face Fluid is a broad-spectrum, dermatologist facial sunscreen created to provide superior protection, in a moisturising super-light transparent formula suitable for daily use. Enriched with Vitamin E to help prevent cellular damage from UV induced free radicals, to reduce the risk of skin cancer and premature skin ageing. Suitable for use under make-up or after shaving.

This is a hybrid sunscreen it contains both chemical and physical UV filters ( Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane; Ethylhexyl Salicylate; Octocrylene; Titanium Dioxide (Nano); Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid; Tris-Biphenyl Triazine (Nano); Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine; Ethylhexyl Triazone) .

It has a lightweight texture, it gets absorbed into the skin very fast, absolutely no white cast and the finish is a little bit dewy, but I like it is very natural, and it look very nice on the skin when you reapply it. I did not see any pilling and also stays very nice under the makeup.

The only thing that I do not like is that stings my eyes really really bad, so if you have sensitive eyes use another sunscreen around them. What I’ve learned is that Octocrylene filtere is the cause for the feeling of stinging. I only buy this because I know that is safe and it look very good on my skin and is also really afforrdable. This is also an unscented sunscreen, 50 ml for 10.55 $

Ingredients:
Aqua, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Glycerin, Octocrylene, Niacinamide, Dimethicone, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Titanium Dioxide (Nano), Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Panthenol, Tris-Biphenyl Triazine (Nano), Aminomethyl Propanol, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Phenoxyethanol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Alumina, Titanium Dioxide, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Decyl Glucoside, Simethicone, Butylene Glycol, Piroctone Olamine, Disodium Phosphate, Diethylhexyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate, Xanthan Gum, Silver Chloride, Propylene Glycol.

@larocheposay Anthelios Shaka Fluid SPF 30 – is a daily facial sunscreen that offers very high protection against the harmful effects of solar radiation. It has a minimalist and hypoallergenic formula. Specifically developed for sensitive skin it should suit any and all skin types. With a unique combination of antioxidants and sunscreen filters, it offers broad and photostable protection against solar radiation. It has the ability to not only protect the skin from UVA, UVB and infrared rays but also from oxidative stress. In addition, its formula has a unique technology that makes this sunscreen ultra-resistant to water, sweat and sand. Besides all this, its texture is also ultra-light and non-greasy, gliding easily over the skin without creating a feeling of discomfort and unsightly white marks. And the best part? It’s also suitable for the eye contour area, as the minimal formula won’t sting the eyes.

La Roche Posay Shaka Fluid is like a lightweight serum to me that gets absorbed very easily into the skin , has watery texture and I could easily spread it across my skin and rub it in easily. No sticky feeling left on my skin, my skin remains quite refreshed and hydratated after I am using this sunscreen. I also like that this sunscreen is water/sweat resistent.

I do not like that it contains fragrance and is quite strong but if you do not like fragrance in products you can choose the La Roche Posay Anthelios Shaka Fluid SPF 50+ 50ml the unscented version ( I think I will chose this next time). The quantity is 50 ml and the price is a little bit higher than the other two 15 $.

Ingredients:
AQUA /WATER ALCOHOL DENAT. DIISOPROPYL SEBACATE SILICA ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE ETHYLHEXYL SALICYLATE ETHYLHEXYLTRIAZONE BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE BUTYLMETHOXYDIBENZOYLMETHANE GLYCERIN C12-22ALKYLACRYLATE / HYDROXYETHYLACRYLATE COPOLYMER PROPANEDIOL DROMETRIZOLE TRISILOXANE PERLITE TOCOPHEROL CAPRYLIC / CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE ACRYLATES / C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER CAPRYLYL GLYCOL HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE TEREPHTHALYLIDENE DICAMPHOR SULFONIC ACID TRIETHANOLAMINE TRISODIUM ETHYLENEDIAMINE DISUCCINATE.

Acne Warrior with Some by Mi

🌿Try me Review me with AHA BHA 30 Days Miracle line from @somebymi that was sent to me by @stylekorean_global

This is a line recommend for oily acne prone skin that will exfoliate and calm your skin 💚

Let me tell you my thoughts after 30 days :

💭 AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Acne Clear Foam – I have finally found an acne wash that doesn’t dry out my skin. It’s nice and refreshing – kinda minty and it makes my face really clrab without that tight most acne washes give you – no sulfates in the formulation. Centella Asiatica helps to reduce inflammation.

💭AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner – I wouldn’t say it’s a miracle toner, but it’s a great way to addbAHA, BHA, PHA acids and niacinamide to your routine.During the first week of using this toner I definitely noticed some purging, but after 5 days these cleared up and I noticed that my skin was way less congested. After a month I will say that my skin’s texture is smoother to the touch, and I haven’t had any adverse reactions.

💭 AHA BHA PHA 39 Days Miracle Serum Light – this was the light version, I’ve also used the first version and it was a little bit to strong when my skin was sensitive, but this one is much better. This serum is free of fragrance, alcohol but there’s peppermint oil that gives that frwsh scent but did not caused me any irritation. The texture is really light, glides easily and it absorbs really quick. This serum helped me heal my acne faster.

💭AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Cream – one of the best moisturizer I ever tried, it’s lightweight, it absorbs so quick and it’s very effective with the serum.

‼️If your skin is more sensitive than mine please look out for the peppermint oil that is contained in it. Try not to use them all at once and every day, at least the toner that seemed the strongest to me. At first use it for 2-3 times a week until the skin gets used to the acids.

Here are my results after 30 days:

The 28$ hair mask that totally transformed my curly, frizzy hair

Finally, I found a mask that works on my thick, curly and frizzy hair.

Everything about Ouai’s Thick Hair Treatment Masque is rich. From the formula, a blend of almond, macadamia, and olive oils with shea and illipe butters (the latter is a tree nut high in vitamins E and A), to the scent. The fragrance, a blend of roses, bergamot, and champagne called Melrose Place, lingers just long enough for that freshly washed feel without interfering with your perfume. And, of course, like all of Ouai’s products, the packaging is chic enough to make me consider redoing my bathroom to match.

OUAI’s Thick Hair Treatment Masque helps restore hydration, repair damage and add shine to thick hair with almond, macadamia and olive oils, shea and illipe butters and hydrolyzed keratin. Benefits

  • Provides hydration for dry, damaged hair
  • Strengthens with proteins to prevent breakage
  • Leaves hair healthy with a shiny finish

Key Ingredients

  • Illipe and Shea Butters: Hydrate and condition dry, over-processed hair
  • Almond, Olive, and Macadamia Oil Blend: Softens and smooths hair while adding shine
  • Hydrolyzed Keratin and Protein: Prevent breakage while reducing frizz and flyaways

Scent Type

  • Melrose Place: A velvety-rich rose scent infused with a swoon-worthy blend of fragrance notes.
  • Key Notes: Champagne, Pink Peppercorn, Berry, Lychee, Amber, Sandalwood, White Musk, Cedarwood, Peony, Rose, Freesia, Jasmine, Bergamot
  • Melrose Place scent can also be found in OUAI Detox Shampoo and Scalp & Body Scrub.

The mask is super easy to use: spread it throughout your hair and let it sit for five to 10 minutes. You can be super liberal with the amount, and you can also let it stay on as long as you want. You can even apply it to wet or dry hair. I typically put it on at the beginning of a shower and rinse at the end. According to the Ouai site, you should apply it before a workout or before you go to bed, but I’ve found that it’s hard to mess up with this product, no matter how you use it. Every time, it’s left my hair feeling soft and buttery, and looking super shiny. The results also hang on until the next time you wash your hair — and you’ll definitely be addicted to this mask after one use.

It contains smart keratin and tamarind seed extract, which help nourish and build up your strands without making them feel heavy, which is super important during the summer when light, beachy waves are the go-to. It also contains an amino acid blend, as well as artichoke leaf extract — all of which work to repair damage and seal off the hair’s cuticle to protect from future damage.

Can you leave OUAI hair mask in overnight?

Definitely! Before you get into bed, use a spray bottle to make your hair slightly damp. Then apply Treatment Masque from mid-shaft to ends, distributing it evenly with a wide-tooth comb.

I also love the thick texture, it’s almost youghurt like and you need a small amount to cover all the hair. If you have curly, thick, damaged and frizzy hair you absolutely have to try The Ouai Mask. I love it!

Hydrating toners/essence’s for this winter

When fall and winter comes around, there is nothing more important than having a routine that is based in hydration.

Toner vs Essence: A toner is typically swiped over the face with a soaked cotton pad, and an essence is pressed straight into the skin. … Essences are better for soothing irritated skin, hydrating a dehydrated skin and helping your skincare absorb more effectively.

Why you should use a toner/essence:

Toner removes any last traces of dirt, grime and impurities stuck in your pores after you wash your face. When added to your daily skincare routine and used regularly, it can have major positive impact on the appearance and tightness of your pores.

Are toners really necessary? No, toning is not necessary for skin health. Toners were originally developed to remove soap scum from the face when lye-based soaps combined with hard water left a sticky residue post cleansing. The alcohol-based toner removed the soap scum eliminating irritation and contributing to cleanser mildness.

These are my top 4 hydrating toners/essence’s for this winter that everyone should try 🤍

❄️ @tiam_global Snail&Azulane Water Essence is enriched with 87% snail secretion filtrate and azulane, is very moisturizing great for damaged skin barrier. After I use this my skin instantly feels soothed and hydrated.

3 skin barrier support picks

Most of the barrier damage comes from stripping your skin of its natural oils with harsh cleansers, acne medication, and acids. Scrubbing too hard, waxing, and using DIY ingredients like lemon and baking soda, and on some skin types, alcohol and fragrance are also common culprits for damage.

Signs of a Damaged Skin Barrier

Disruption in the core functions of the skin barrier can present in a number of ways, including:

  • Rosacea and eczema. These conditions are partly caused by a genetic defect in the skin barrier. However, additional outside damage to the skin barrier can cause these conditions to flare up.
  • Chronic skin irritation
  • Itchy skin
  • Dehydrated, dull skin
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Skin infections
  • Delayed wound healing

What Can Damage Your Skin Barrier?

In general, life damages the skin barrier.

  • Pollution
  • Wind
  • UV radiation
  • Frequent handwashing
  • Use of cleansers that strip the skin barrier of its natural oils
  • Overuse of exfoliating acids
  • Use of harsh physical exfoliants
  • Smoking
  • Lack of sleep
  • Stress
  • Nutrient-light diet

A combination of avoidable and unavoidable daily habits cause varying degrees of damage to the skin barrier.

How do you fix a damaged skin barrier? Hydrate Continuously. A damaged epidermis requires moisture, so keeping your face and body well hydrated is critical in the fight to restore and maintain a healthy skin barrier. Reach for creams, lotions and serums that contain moisture-binding humectants, such as glycerin, sorbitol, ceramides and hyaluronic acid.

These are the 3 most used products by me when my skin gets damaged:

@cosrx Snail Mucin- this stuff is awesome; it has made a huge difference in my skin. I have oily acne prone skin and this smoothed out my skin, helped with hyperpigmentation and is my saviour when my skin barrier is damaged! I totally recommend this to anyone! ✨

@vegreen_official Cica Serum – this serum contains Centella Asiatica extract to soothe and moisturize sensitive skin. It has a lightweight texture that get’s absorbed into the skin very quickly.

@cerave Hydrating Cream – has a unique formula that provides 24-hour hydration and helps restore the protective skin barrier with 3 essentials ceramides and hyaluronic acid. It has a non-greasy texture and is fast absorbing ideal for sensitive skin on both face and body.

What’s your skin saviours? 🤍

Tips for Influencers: How to Pitch for More Brand Deals

I know how hard it is to make courage to pitch yourself to a brand. Been there and it was really scary!

At first I didn’t know how to reach out to brands, I didn’t know what to say , how my email should look, and I din’t know if I was qualified enough to collaborate with a brand. I was rejected many times, because most of the brands like just the gifting idea and they think that’s enough for our work.

The first step (and the hardest) is to know how to format your email pitch encouraging a brand to work with you. This email should be unique because brands receive tons of offers daily so you need to stand out and be persuasive.

These are some steps that you need to follow when creating the email:

  • Introduction
    Why are you reaching out?
  • Who you are
What type of blogger are you? Which niche?
  • Why should they work with you
Have you used the brand before? What are your favorite products?
  • Link to your social media
Do you want to do a collaboration through Instagram or your blog? Both? Include that!
  • Statistics
How many followers do you have? How many monthly readers?
  • Experience
Who have you worked with in the past? Include examples and links!
  • And one of the most important steps: a MEDIA KIT

Brand Pitch Email Template:

“Hi [insert brand representatives name],
My name is [insert your name here] and I am reaching out to you in regards to a collaboration. I love [brands name here] and believe your products align well with my brand.

I am a [niche here] influencer and/or blogger with [number of followers or readers here]. You can find me at [social media site here]. I have experience working with [insert brands here]. You can find some of my past work [link here] and [link two here].

Looking forward to your reply!

Thank you,
[your name here]

MEDIA KIT

Media kits are a type of pitch, a digital portfolio that tells the brands everything they need to know about you.To become a successful influencer, it is imperative for you to have an influencer media kit. When you reach out to brands, a media kit is the best way to showcase your work.

In simple words, an influencer media kit is a mix of the testimonials section, your work history. There are many free media kit templates available. All you need to do is enter your information into the template.

What to include:

  • About section
  • Follower demographics
  • Link to your social media accounts
  • Social media statistics and insights
  • Number of followers on each channel
  • Contact information
  • Photos, samples, testimonies *
  • Pricing *

Media Kit Examples:

This is the first page on my media kit, and I have the basics here . I think is pretty simple and easy to read, I also showed to my friend and she told me that it looks very professional, hehe. Your media kit can contain just one page or you can make make a multiple page media kit, but don’t forget to update it every few months, just like you would with a resume.

Always remember:

Every email pitch should be personalized to the brand. You don’t want to forward the same email to 10 brands because that’ll be pretty obvious and not look good. If you haven’t tried their products out don’t fake it and say you have. Simply state that you’ve always been interested in giving their products a try. And the most important step trust yourself, be confident and get ready to be rejected many times until you get the first YES.

Bakuchiol vs Retinol 💗

Have you heard about the latest, greatest skincare ingredient? Bio-Retinol, the natural alternative to retinol, the vegan retinol, the plant based retinol, the natural retinol – all different names for one thing: Bakuchiol. ✨

Bakuchiol is found in the seeds and leafs of the Babchi plant, also known as Psoralea Corylifolia, so basically a plant extract. It is a natural occurring antioxidant and is called “herbal alternative to Botox” (no topical products are an alternative to something you inject, so let’s just forget that quickly) and “natural version of retinol”.

Bakuchiol has no structural resemblance to retinoid acid, but there are studies showing that it has similar effects on the skin,so let’s quickly look at the mechanisms of retinoids on your skin.

Retinoic Acid works through specific receptors in the cell that trigger an increase in gene expression and increased production of collagen Typ I, III and IV as well as aquaporin 3 expression. Translated that means that your skins firmness and elasticity increase, while your wrinkles and fine lines decrease.

On top of that it speeds up cell turnover, which leads to younger looking, more even skin and less hyperpigmentation. 💦

Both Retinol and Retinaldehyde are precursors of Retinoic Acid that are slowly transformed into Retinoic Acid in the skin, which is why they act slower and are weaker in terms of effects and side effects. You can buy those as OTC products, while Retinoic Acid usually is prescription only.

All retinoids can lead to retinol dermatitis, a period of inflammation, dryness and flaking skin, typically occurring within the first four weeks of treatment. That can be prevented by using lower concentrations, slowly building up a tolerance or using the products less frequently than once a day. Some people though never tolerate retinoids. 💦

Bakuchiol is a great retinol alternative for everyone that is sensitive to retinol side effects, but there is no need to replace the retinoids that have been working for you. And if you are on prescription strength, you won’t find the same effects in Bakuchiol products.

The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm vs The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser which is better?

🌿 @theinkeylist Oat Cleansing Balm – works so well because of two key ingredients: oat kernel oil and colloidal oatmeal. The oat kernel oil is noncomedogenic (meaning it won’t clog your pores as it dissolve makeup and grime), it contains naturally occurring antioxidants, and because it’s a humectant, it’s an excellent hydrator. Colloidal oatmeal is excellent at cleansing the skin and is known for having soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

The texture of this balm is thick and has a slight graininess to it, which m, once worked into the skin, dissolves easily.

This cleanser is unscented, which I love and very affordable 9.99 $.

It effectively removes all of my makeup, doesn’t cause irritation, it’s really good for sensitive skin.

🌿 @deciem Squalane Cleanser contains squalane, lipophilic, and emulsifying sucrose esters ingredients. It’s suitable for all skin types.

This product looks like moisturiser when you squeeze it out of the tube, but it changes to an oil consistency when you rub it between your hands.

The cleanser washes off really well and doesn’t leave behind an oily film and my face felt moisturised and hydrated afterwards. I didn’t experienced any irritation.

This one also is unscented and affordable 7.99 $ .

Well is hard for me to choose a favourite from this too, but @theinkeylist formula and texture works much better for me! 🤍

CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser

For a month I tested the new @cerave Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser that is formulated to be ultra-mild, yet effective in cleansing the skin of dirt, oil and pollution with moisturising the skin. 💦

This foaming formula is suitable for delicate skin and skin prone to mild eczema. It contains 3 ceramides to help strengthen and maintain the skin barrier, and triglycerides and squalane oil to help replenish natural skin’s lipids, suitable for normal to dry skin on the face of body.

You’ve seen on my IG that I am a big fan of Cerave, and I was really excited to try their new product.

Some of my favourite points about this product:

  • the texture is gel-like and really hydrating without dry out my skin
  • one pump is enough for my whole face, neck and chest
  • it is good for double cleansing and every day use
  • the quantity for the price 26.99 $ for 473 ml

The only thing I would note is that you’ll still have to use a separate makeup remover, as this isn’t that effective as dissolving makeup and definitely won’t help you take off the waterproof mascara !

This is a nice gentle everyday cleanser, without any irritation. It is also fragrance free, a huge plus. 🤍
